About InfoTree: My InfoTree

This page contains a description of InfoTree's "My InfoTree" feature. You may also want to look at some of the specific pages listed here:

"My InfoTree" is a feature of InfoTree that lets you bookmark any of three kinds of items in InfoTree:

  1. An entire subject category that you find by browsing
  2. A record for an individual item
  3. The results of a search

In order to either create new bookmarks or retrieve old ones, you must first login to the system. To do this, click on the login link in the upper right corner of any InfoTree page.

In the box on the login page enter your Social Security number in the Library Login blank (the number is encrypted for your protection), and your Library PIN number in the Library PIN blank. For more information on PIN numbers, see our page on PIN numbers.

As long as you stay logged into InfoTree, you will have access to your bookmarks. In the case of subject categories or search results (#1 and #3 above), revisiting those bookmarks will keep you up to date on any new items added in those categories or to parameters that match your search query.

You may edit the titles of each of your bookmarks or delete them entirely, as you wish.

You can only bookmark items that are part of InfoTree itself, it is not a general bookmark utility.
