Creating entries for a bibliography means giving the basic information needed for someone else to quickly and accurately identify each source you used. The kinds of information needed varies from one kind of source to another. In the three pages on Finding Books, Finding Articles, and Finding Web Resources there are basic listings of the kinds of information you will need. Sources can be very complex to deal with, however. InfoTree has a page with links to online style guides; you may also wish to consult a librarian for additional resources or for help at interpreting these guides. |
