A Bibliography of over 200,000 publications published since 1971 and relating to the taxonomy of flowering plants, gymnosperms, and ferns.

Subject coverage includes taxonomy, nomenclature, chromosome surveys, chemotaxonomy, anatomy, morphology, embryology, reproductive biology, new species, floristics, biosystematics, bibliography and biography. It is most useful for material on specific families or species of plants; it is also useful in areas like biogeography, where BIOSIS is weak because of its arrangement. Lower plants and fungi are not covered. Registration, which is needed to use the full power of the database is required and is FREE.

The database is part of the Kew Bibliographic Databases, which also include the Plant Micromorphology Bibliography and the Economic Botany Bibliography.

The former print title was Index to European Taxonomic Literature, and the current database is broader in its coverage.
