ECLAC is one of the five regional commissions of the United Nations. It promotes economic development in Latin America and reinforces economic relationships between Latin American countries and the rest of the world.

At the ECLAC site you can find electronic versions of their publications, as well as statistical information. In Spanish they are known as CEPAL, and all documents are available in both Spanish and English
