An archival manuscript collection with extensive files that document the writings and life of Dave Smith, a major contemporary American poet.

The collection includes published and unpublished writings, correspondence, and copies of reviews of his works.

The Manuscripts Department at Alden Library also has an author collection with published copies, many with inscriptions, of Smith's works.
