Using the collection:
- Visiting the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library's Telephone Conversations Description and Search Page page is useful to find out more about this collection and is the best means of access to specific items. Not all the listening privileges will be available, but searching this site provides a good name and keyword index to the conversations.
- Click "Search the Telephone Conversations." Note instructions and do search.
- Clicking on a specific result entry will take one to a summary of the conversation, index terms, whether the conversation has been transcribed, and specific cassette number.
- Conversations that have been transcribed are basically arranged by date. If you find something on the cassette and wish to know whether it has been transcribed, search by cassette number and person's name. Many of the conversations on cassette have not been transcribed.
