The DMC provides Web access to images, sounds, video, numeric data, and other types of media information to the general public. Collections include:

• The "ViewPoints Project" foreign language video clips in which native speakers elaborate on a wide variety of topics;
• An Encyclopedia of of 600 Physics Demonstrations (video);
• Social Science Database (images of Mayan archaeology and more);
• Historic and Archival Collections (including materials from Ohio University);
• Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps, Ohio, 1867-1970;
• Art and Architecture images;
• LANDSAT 7 (Ohio based satellite data available for download or viewing, new imagery every 16 days.

Contributions to the Center are from departmental libraries, archives, special collections, individual faculty members, or other Ohio institutions such as museums or historical societies.
