Douglass is an electronic archive of American oratory and related documents intended to serve general scholarship and courses in American history and politics.

Designed to serve students of American Rhetorical History at Northwestern University, Douglass is intended to be a first stop for students of public address. It is searchable by keyword, and can be browsed by speaker, title, time period, and topic. There is also a directory of web links, organized by topic, containing speeches, documents, and resources.
