  GovBenefits.gov

This is a FREE, confidential tool, from the US Department of Labor, that helps you find government benefits you may be eligible to receive; answer questions and get a customized report of government programs that are available according to your profile and needs.

Types of programs include:

  1. Federal - Federally funded and administered grants and programs
  2. State - Federally and/or State funded, State administered grants and programs

The starting point was the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) for the benefit programs and then went to the agencies that sponsored the programs and worked to get accurate contact information.

Partner agencies include:

  • Agriculture
  • Education
  • Energy
  • Health & Human Services
  • HUD
  • Social Security
  • Veterans Administration
  • Department of State
  • FEMA

With benefits programs from all participating Federal agencies and State organizations, GovBenefits is the most comprehensive online resource for government-to-citizen assistance programs available.
