The Special Collections of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Library, a recently developed program, is an excellent resource for online historical maps. East Asia, and China in particular, is especially well represented. Maps of the East Indies are also incorporated into the collection. Mapmakers include: Pierre, Dalrymple, Seller, Tordesillas, Linschoten, Blaeu, Ramusio, Fries, Bolton, Goos, Visscher, Keulen, Moll, and Rapkin.
