A digital archive that focuses on Western interactions with the Middle East, particularly travels to Egypt during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Material is divided into seven broad categories: Daily Life and Customs; Art and Artifacts; Religion and Festivals; People; Places and Architecture; Travel and Transportation; and History and Politics.

Types of material offered include images, texts, maps, and research modules.
